What is Photopeach?

Photopeach is a fantastic tool for creating interactive slideshows.  Teachers around the world are finding creative and exciting ways to incorporate it into their classroom.  Photopeach explains why they are becoming so popular within education:

"The combination of images, music, and text helps students learn about presentation, expression, writing, communication skills, art appreciation, and media literacy. The quality of the finished work is great and students will remember it forever."  (Photopeach, Copyright © 2012 Nota Inc)

Advantages of Photopeach:
- Easy to work with as slideshows can be created quickly and efficiently
- Interactive as teachers can create quizes within the slides for students to answer
- Collaborative as students can work together to create or view slide shows
- Flexible as can be shared both publically and privately depending on the purpose of the slideshow

Science

Photopeach is great for capturing students progress throughout a project and documenting the steps they take to reach conclusions for their science experiment.  Photopeach allows the teacher to capture their work, which allows students to go back and see their progress as they type up reports on thier experiments.

Math

Documenting students work in real time is a great way to share their work and make it exciting for them.  Watch as students experiment with measuring capacity.  Students can look back on thier work, and other teachers can view this photopeach slideshow to get ideas for lessons and experiments in their own classroom.

Social Studies

Photopeach allows for field trips to be captured in an exciting way.  This slideshow shows students on a field trip to see medieval times during thier social studies unit.  The slideshow allows students to have this memory forever and can be used to show parents the students learning.
